The annual race opens its doors to all members of the community, encouraging participants of all ages and fitness levels to unite their efforts in support of families and loved ones affected by cancer. The event also aims to raise awareness about the risks of various cancer types and highlight the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle for cancer prevention and control. Participants will have the opportunity to compete in various categories over distances of 1 km, 3 km, 5 km, and 10 km. The 'Cancer Prevention 2026' race will be held on Al Hudayriat Island in Abu Dhabi on February 1, 2026. It is organized by Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Sports Council and Plan B Group.
